How to Represent Yourself in an Employment Tribunal
Gemma Bailey, Head of Employment Litigation and Disputes, and her colleague, Nayo Kirkpatrick, Associate provided their expert employment law advice and knowledge for claimants and respondents to help prepare for a case management preliminary hearing. This webinar includes how to organise and collate your evidence in advance of the employment tribunal, as well as what you can do personally to ensure you are prepared.
The feedback we received from the attendees was positive and we will be taking comments on board. In fact, we are planning to host more soon.
“I attended and was very impressed. The presenters and content of the presentation were superb.”
“I found the course very informative and helpful, thank you”
“I appreciated the use of plain English as it certainly aided my understanding of the subject”
“Both the webinar and the information I received afterwards from Gemma has proved to be very useful”

Warning! There are some real pitfalls in representing yourself or in fact getting solicitors involved. You could well end up getting rinsed by large organistations who have deep pockets and their legal representatives who will be charging them hundreds of pound an hour.Think of the pressure this may have on your family. At the end you may have large costs awarded against you even if you withdraw your complaint the repondent can apply for a cost preperation order against you. So please think carefully if it is really worth it and don't get drawn in. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

@@Liberty_Freedom_Brotherhood Nevertherther less it can happen and solicitors do not work for free their input does not come cheap. My advice would be get on with your life avoid the stress and find an employer who is worth working for.

Most people are here because trouble was caused for us. Not by us, so staying away isn't good advice unless everyone was to isolate themselves, seen as trouble makers are everywhere including employers. Now if someone wants to make up a fake claim then that's solely on them. You got this and may it be a happy new year.

I have to say, this video is so informative and explains the coherent order of things. I submitted a claim in 2020, which is on-going, and I was one of those claimants that rambled on and on in my ET1 😄 The judges have been very patient with me in the pre-lims. This video has helped me to organise my claim with my amendments granted by the court. I wish this had been on YT in 2020! Thank you for the free content and as my claim progresses, I’ll keep your services in mind, just in case.. there is no harm having competent employment lawyers on your case for iron clad documents 🙏🏻

My wife left me taking the kids citing domestic abuse just to get a council flat for free. The Social Services after interviewing me closed the case through lack of evidence (and the fact she owns a flat abroad) have advised her about having evidence and proof which she never had as it didn't happen. Now she wont let me see the kids as it was advice by the social worker (advisory only) but she thinks its the law? Now she can't come back to the house as they deemed it unsafe due to what was said (lies) and she took the car saying she needed it but I had to tell her she wasn't insured anymore so I got it back. She is living with a friend now and i'm pretty stress free. She pops over once a week so the kids can see me but we end up bickering. Also I haven't paid her any money as she wont let me see the kids on a regular basis so why should I pay for them? She earns enough anyway to survive and can't afford a Lawyer so I'm just going to wait it out.... See what happens. I also had to warn her is she leaves the country to go on holiday without my consent then that I believe is child abduction so no holiday for her this year!

This may shock you. The thing I don't like about religious people on social media, is how similar they are to a predator. You see a young girl in a bar/club, extremely drunk, and your first thought is, I could take her home and do things to her, you are a predator and disgusting. So how does that refer to this? What you have is desperate people looking on youtube for help with what will be for alot of people in this situation the most stressful time in their lives. So what have you done? You've seen this video, seen that people watching it are at their most vulnerable, and commented on the video with a link to a video I watched in its entirety, yet I felt disgusted with what was offered. Stop trying to force people into religion, if they want it they have plenty of time, if they don't want to, I respect that I'm wish them well.
